Discussion workshop: Hey big (value) spender… spend a little time with contact lenses
Contact lens wearers are also consumers/shoppers of other products and increasingly they are becoming savvier with their spending. Discount codes and coupons are now part of our everyday life. In this discussion workshop we will be looking at what motivates and influences patients shopping habits and linking this to the variety of contact lenses that are currently available. We will review how to balance this with the features and benefits of contact lenses to meet the patients expectations, needs and preferences and to be able to confidently explain the value that can be provided.
Learning outcomes:
To accurately understand what patients deem as important and how to use open questions to be able to fully understand the patients lifestyle and requirements (s.1)
To be able to provide a clear and accurate contact lens recommendation ensuring the patients expectations are met by communicating effectively (s.2)
To be able to understand the different features and benefits of the range of contact lenses available and to confidently explain to patients the value which they provide (s.5).
