Discussion workshop: Pole position - a front row seat to the back of the eye
An interactive discussion on management of retinal disorders commonly encountered in primary practice. This session will explore the benefit of attaining higher qualifications to enhance confidence in diagnosis, aid clinical decision making and, where referral is indicated, consideration of the most appropriate service pathways.
Learning outcome(s):
Registrants will understand how to work collaboratively with fellow colleagues to provide the best patient care, for patients with common retinal eye pathology. (s.10)
Registrants will recognise colleagues holding higher accreditations have broader scope of practice and how this can enhance patient care. (s.5)
Registrants will have an enhanced knowledge and understanding of latest management guidelines for assessment, referral and management of common retinal eye conditions. (s.7)
Registrants will work within their limits to manage patients using updated guidelines. (s.6).
