This interactive discussion session will give delegates an understanding of homelessness and the impact of that on access to sight care, and how we as eye care practitioners can help to make a difference.
Learning outcome(s):
Registrants will be able to show respect and fairness to others and not discriminate to those who are homeless. (s.13)
Registrants will be able to actively listen to patients who are homeless and ensure they are at the heart of decisions made about their care (s.1)
Registrants will be able to communicate effectively with patients who are homeless to ensure the appropriate care is provided (s.2).
