Renowned for its craftsmanship, timeless design, and the highest quality materials, L.G.R has introduced the Fall Winter 2024-2025 collection: enriched by technical and stylistic details that express the brand’s unique identity, reaffirming L.G.R as a leader in the creation of luxury eyewear that withstands the test of time.

Among the most significant technical innovations in this collection is the introduction of a new hinge, a fundamental element that connects the frame’s front to the temples. It not only ensures strength and durability but is also designed to enhance the product’s aesthetics.

Inspired by the window design of Ottica Bini, the historic family store of Luca Gnecchi Ruscone in Asmara, the hinge echoes the typical features of neo-Gothic Venetian windows, with an arched shape topped by a pointed dome. This exclusive design has been meticulously recreated in a custom hinge, adorned with Art Nouveau engravings and enriched by the L.G.R inscription, laser-etched onto the steel.

To further elevate attention to detail, L.G.R has also developed a new decorative core for the temples. With more frames featuring transparent or crystal-colored acetates, the core inside the temples becomes a visible and defining element of the design.

In collaboration with a historic supplier, L.G.R created an exclusive core inspired by mashrabiya, the intricately carved wooden decorations typical of Moroccan architecture. This detail adds an extra touch of sophistication and originality to the models in the new collection.

Additionally, the iconic L.G.R giraffe, the brand’s distinctive symbol, has been placed on the exterior of the temple for the first time, protected under a transparent lacquer that ensures durability and resistance to wear, preserving the beauty of the detail over time.
