Ahmet Burak Bilgin is a retinal specialist, retinal surgeon and professor of ophthalmology at Akdeniz University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology. His areas of research include artificial intelligence and retinal diagnostics, retinal diseases and eye surgery. He is the chief scientific officer at EyeCheckup and has significantly contributed to developing artificial intelligence-based software to automate retinal diagnostics and a clinical decision support system to assist eye care professionals.
