Dr Angharad  Hobby is an optometrist and researcher. She completed her PhD at City, University of London and her two post-doctoral researcher positions at Cardiff University. Her research interests include medical retina, public health and clinical eye care. She has presented at several national and international conferences and is an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She's currently a senior hospital optometrist in Cwm Taf University Health Board. She is also a council and board member for Optometry Wales, and chairs their research and development subcommittee.
