Bhavik Parmar has been working in optics for 15 years. He started his career as an optical assistant for Specsavers and then went on to graduate with a master's degree in optometry in 2013. He is an experienced optometrist and has worked for various companies carrying out roles involving training, developing and managing optometrists. He was previously a regional optometrist lead for Vision Express and an optometry development manager for Optical Express. Currently, Bhavik is working as a clinical engagement manager for Specsavers. Bhavik has a master's degree in clinical health management from Aston University Business School and also holds a postgraduate diploma in optometry. He has worked in specialist refractive surgery clinics for a number of years and is an independent prescriber. Bhavik has been a councillor for the AOP as well as sitting on various optical committees in the past.
