With extensive experience in optometry, clinical leadership and clinical governance, Cathy is dedicated to fostering the professional development of clinical staff, positioning Boots Opticians as a leader in patient-centred care. She currently leads the myopia management clinical provision at Boots, driven by her passion for addressing the challenges clinicians face and ensuring the best outcomes for children with myopia. In addition to her work at Boots Opticians, Cathy serves as a clinical investigator and optometric clinical advisor for NHS England and Cheshire and Merseyside integrated care board, where she supports the management of the NHS performers List, advice on patient safety matters and provides expert guidance on GOS contracts.
