Daniele Bazzocchi is an experienced general manager at Safilens with a history of working in the medical device industry. He received his physics degree from the University of Bologna, as well as BA in foreign languages and literature. He has been in the contact lens industry for over 14 years, involved in the development and production of contact lenses and solutions as well as in the regulatory aspects of such activities. As head of the development team, he specialises in clinical and medical evaluation of products and medical device registration. Daniele also actively participates in teaching workshops for dispensing opticians and optometrists relating to contact lens characteristics and fitting techniques, and has presented and lectured in numerous national and international meetings and congresses.
