Dave Jeavons is an optometrist and partner at David Kear Opticians, an independent practice in the Forest of Dean. An early adopter of advanced imaging technology, Dave integrated OCT in 2008 and ultra widefield imaging in 2018, making them central to daily practice. He has also participated in mission projects to rural Kenya and Mozambique, reflecting his commitment to global eye care. As a member of Gloucestershire LOC, Dave contributes to local CPD event planning and enjoys engaging with the broader aspects of optometry through LOCSU.
