Deepali graduated from Cardiff University in 2009 and has since worked in primary care practice. She has completed the LOCSU glaucoma and MECS qualifications, professional certificate in medical retina and the theory aspect of therapeutic prescribing in optometry; she will be completing her IP placement in the next couple of months. During her time at Vision Express, she supervised students at both store and regional level and supported the delivery of the training programme for pre-reg optometrists. She was regional optical lead working alongside Operations to troubleshoot store concerns, manage professionals in the region, and recruit and maintain talent. Deepali is an assessor and examiner for the College of Optometrists and is a GOC council associate. She is has previously held post as an honorary associate lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University. She has formerly held posts on the College of Optometrists and AOP councils.
