Gareth Bulpin moved from his full time technical support and network manager position in 2017 where he was responsible for managing one of the largest Data Networks in the NHS. In 2018, he was appointed to the post of National Architect Eye Care Digitisation with a remit to design, tender and commission a national electronic report and referral system to support and deliver shared care of ophthalmic services between the primary and secondary care sectors in NHS Wales to address its 'perfect storm'.
