Iain is a consultant ophthalmologist and uveitis service lead for NHS Forth Valley serving a population of 350,000. With extensive experience in both clinical and research settings, he is actively involved in digital health innovations, particularly vision testing technologies and AI applications in healthcare. Iain has published research on vision testing and digital technology and is passionate about integrating new technologies to improve patient outcomes. He also runs Livingstone Ophthalmic, a bespoke clinical consultancy, and has a keen interest in advancing ophthalmic education through innovative approaches like his recently launched podcast, eyeTech Digital Trends.
