Ian is co-founder and chief innovative officer of Ocumetra. He is a paediatric ophthalmologist who has been involved with myopia research for over two decades and is a recognised opinion leader in the area of myopia management. As well as clinical research, much of his work has been in computational and mathematical approaches to eye growth. An eye surgeon and tech entrepreneur by day, a writer by night. Along with more than 30 scientific peer-reviewed papers, Ian has authored fiction books, Journey by Starlight, and The Reluctant Cannibals.
