Ian has been fitting complex contact lenses since 2000 and during his career has worked in a large, UK-based multiple opticians, teaching professional and support staff how to fit contact lenses. He has also taught contact lens fitting at City, University of London and is currently a contact lens examiner for ABDO as well as professional services lead, UK and Ireland for No7 Contact Lenses, part of CooperVision. Ian has several clinics at his local hospital including a dedicated post-graft clinic. He completed his BCLA fellowship in June 2022 and the IACLE fellowship exam in November 2023.
