Louise Gow
Louise is an optometrist with 30 years of clinical experience, including 15 years in low vision services. She is the head of optometry, low vision and eye health at the RNIB and is responsible for their eye health information, website content and press office enquiries. She is the founder of the low vision peer network and is co-author of the RNIB adult low vision services quality framework and good practice guidelines. She is also co-author of RNIB’s e-learning modules for eye care professionals. Louise is a GOC committee member and a visiting practitioner for SeeAbility in the special school’s eye care services and in St Thomas' hospital low vision team. She also has over 10 years of experience as a clinical advisor for the low vision module at City University.
