Miss Miriam Minihan is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Moorfields Private Eye Hospital. Having graduated from University College Cork with initial training in Ireland, she moved to Newcastle to complete her registrar training, followed by vitreoretinal and medical retina fellowship posts at St Thomas' and Moorfields. Miriam started her consultant post at Moorfields in 2004 where she is audit lead for the vitreoretinal service. She enjoys treating her patients and training the next generation of vitreoretinal surgeons.
