Miss Rampat is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon based at the Royal Free London NHS Trust specialising in Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery and was recently named 1 of 10 'Rising Stars in Ophthalmology' Globally by The Ophthalmologist magazine.
After training in the competitive North London Deanery Ophthalmology Run Through Programme (including Royal Free), she completed 3 fellowships in Anterior Segment at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, and Rothschild Foundation Hospital, Paris before becoming a consultant. Additionally Miss Rampat completed an Executive MBA - Physician CEO program at Kellogg, Chicago, USA.
With over 40 articles online and in peer-reviewed journals as well as several book chapters, published in her areas of interest she is known in her field internationally, but her main focus has always been individualised patient-centred care and high quality knowledge transfer to those she trains. She also has a keen interest in developing sustainable practices within Ophthalmology.
