Richard Spencer began his optics career as an optical assistant in 2005 at ASDA Opticians, before moving to Vision Express and progressing through store management as assistant store manager of a top 20 store then onto his own stores. In 2015, he changed direction and joined David Burghardt Vision Care, a leading independent practice with a reputation for clinical and service excellence, and went on to complete the ophthalmic dispensing course. Now a director of the practice, Richard is working towards his MOptom at UCLAN, looking to spread his passion for patient care into optometry.
