Sai is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and clinical director for Newmedica Birmingham. He has expertise in managing cataracts in patients with high refractive errors, astigmatism and presbyopia and is one of the most experienced surgeons in the use of premium lenses including toric, trifocal and extended depth of field lens implants. He is also highly experienced in refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK, LASEK, ICL and RLE). Sai is a national expert in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery and teaches and lectures across the UK and internationally. He was recently appointed as an honorary professor at Aston University.
