Sofia is a former independent practice owner and current non-executive board director with LOCSU. Throughout her career as an optometrist, Sofia has been dedicated to the education and training of eyecare professionals working with market leaders from across the sector. Her current role as the professional services manager for HOYA Lens UK and Ireland, involves training, providing technical support, delivering CPD and educational content for professionals as well as internal teams. She is a previous LOC chair, member of Vision Care for Homeless People and a member of the AOP’s virtual policy committee.
